GraphBoard is a keyboard for Android. What you type stays on your phone. This page says exactly what it does with your data.
Stays on your phone
- Everything you type. GraphBoard has no internet access for typing. Your words, and what the keyboard learns from them, never leave the phone.
- Key correction. GraphBoard weighs each tap by where your finger landed and which words are likely. It also learns your own tap offset. All of this runs on your phone and is stored there.
- GIF recents and favourites. Kept on your phone.
- The typing diagnostics log. This log helps tune key correction. It is off by default. It stays on your phone and only leaves it if you export it. It never records password fields or incognito fields.
Not collected
- No analytics.
- No accounts. You never sign in.
GIF search and KLIPY
Powered by KLIPY
GIF search is still in development. It is optional and off by default. GIF search is powered by KLIPY.
If you turn GIF search on, this is what happens:
- When
- Only while the GIF panel is open.
- What is sent
- The words you search for, a random install ID, your language and the content filter level.
- Where
- Straight from your phone to KLIPY (api.klipy.com). It does not pass through a GraphBoard server.
- What comes back
- GIFs, loaded from KLIPY's servers.
- Not sent
- Nothing is reported back when you send a GIF. Nothing else you type is sent.
KLIPY handles this data under its own privacy policy: klipy.com/support/privacy-policy. If you never turn on GIF search, GraphBoard sends nothing to KLIPY.
